They say all good things are worth the wait. Now, for all our children, the wait is finally over. The Marshfield Kids at Play Plaza is having its grand opening celebration on September 4th at 11am! (rain date of Sunday the 5th at noon). No matter what age you are, this beautiful addition to Marshfield will bring out the kid in you.

The Marshfield Kids at Play Plaza is a playground like no other. 10,000 sq feet, 16 slides, a rock climbing wall, and full access for all children. Marshfield’s new playground is the largest fully accessible and environmentally sustainable playground in the country. Everyone in town should take great pride in the fact that no child will be left out of the fun. Located right next to Ventress Memorial Library, the successor to the Mazes will once again offer Marshfield’s children a safe place to have a little fun.

We cannot thank the residents of Marshfield enough for their support in bringing this dream to reality. To the countless volunteers, local businesses that donated time and materials, town officials who helped get things moving, and everyone who donated money, bought a brick, or just gave an encouraging word, thank you. Thank you from everyone at Marshfield Kids at Play. More importantly, thank you from all our kids, grandkids, and parents who no longer have to leave Marshfield to find a safe place for their children to play.

Grab a chance to have your child or grandchild be the first on the playground. We are offering the opportunity to be the first kid on the playground on opening day. The winner will get to bring a friend and be the first in line to jump on a slide or climb the rock wall. All proceeds from the raffle go into the maintenance of the playground.
